Weekday Schedule:
7:30 Kima (wakeup)
8:00 Shachrit– Morning practice incorporating traditional and creative practice. Chanting, meditation, yoga, drumming, Shema, Amidah, etc.
8:30-9:30 Aruchat Boker (breakfast) made by participants.
9:30-10:00 Nikayon (cleanup)
10:00-12:00 Gan/Avodah— Participants will work in the garden planting, cultivating, and harvesting, along with other chores around camp.
12:00-12:30 Aruchat Tzoharayim (lunch) prep. Clean up from garden. Participants prepare lunch using vegetables from garden
12:30-1:30 Aruchat Tzoharayim
1:30-2:30 Chofesh (free time)
2:30-3:30 Chuggim ( interest groups) Participants learn hands on skills such as guitar, bicycle maintenance, mural painting, in smaller groups.
3:30-4:30 Reb David engages participants in discussions based upon works by Martin Buber: Tales of the Hassidim and I-Thou.
4:30– 6:00 Peula (activity)— Each day the group will do something new such as play a game, go on a hike, go swimming, or take a field trip.
6:00-7:00 Aruchat Erev (dinner)- prepared by participants
7:30 Evening program—campfire, night hike, film, guest speaker..
